Monk's Playground re-imagines the music of Thelonious Monk for an electric guitar-led quartet, with new arrangements by Chris Vasi that incorporate elements of Latin, odd-meter, Eastern, New Orleans, and funk. The line-up is Chris Vasi-guitar, Jonathan Gibson-sax, Jonathan Wheelock-bass, Forrest Young-drums.
