Momentum presents the art and ideas of intergenerational contemporary women artists residing in the United States. The 47 artists selected by LACMA curator Rita Gonzalez examine the concept of "momentum" from a contemporary activist and personal perspective. Their works portray women's struggles and accomplishments that span 40 years and propel creative momentum for future generations.
