This play talks about the journey of Molly Sweeney from the blind world she lives and is happy in, through to a partially sighted world which is new, fresh and exciting, yet ultimately overwhelming. Told through alternating monologues from the points of view of three different characters Molly, her husband Frank and her surgeon Mr. Rice, Molly Sweeney is based on Oliver Sack's case study, To See and Not See from An Anthropologist on Mars.
