Mokey Doris CD Release + The Howls + The Dirty Jacks December 3, 2011

Mokey Doris celebrates the release of their debut self titled CD "Mokey Doris" with a live performance at Jammin Java. They will perform all 12 songs from the record and are giving away FREE copies of the new CD to all in attendance at the big show. Mokey Doris is an indie rock band based out of Washington, DC. They coalesced in the summer of 2010 as a four piece composed of Robert Mays, Cody Jones, Michael Pion and Kalem Jones. Their influences range from Nirvana to Elliott Smith and Talking Heads. Mokey Doris's hope is that their sound will fill your minds with pirate incense, that it may dispel any foul odor and seduce the underwhelmed among you.

The Howls is a group based from used car garages, open mic nights, late night epiphanies, instant gratification, make'a'livin jobs, and a desire for clean tone.

The Dirty Jacks were formed the band in late 2008, and finally started recording and playing shows in May of 2009. The Dirty Jacks are a progressive/alternative rock band based out of Rockville, MD.
