Mojácar Flamenco performs at ARTTalk March 20th March 20, 2010

Join award-winning Mojácar Flamenco at ARTTalk, a cutting-edge word and theatrical performance event featuring music, dance, theater and film on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. ARTTalk features some of Los Angeles’ most established and emerging performers. ARTTalk is a free, all-ages event.

At 2:30pm Mojácar Flamenco presents a powerful new flamenco work – “Farruca/Tangos de Málaga.” Established as a flamenco dance by the legendary flamenco dancers artists Vicente Escudero, Antonio Gades and José Greco, the Farruca and Tangos de Málaga continue to resonate with artists and audiences worldwide. Explosive dancing and guitar playing highlight the powerful message of this work – No empleéis la violencia/don’t use violence.
