Moe’s Books in Berkeley, to honor the 40th anniversary of Chez Panisse, is offering during the month of August a 10% discount off all bookstore purchases to customers who present any dining receipt from that restaurant. In addition, 10% of the value of those purchases will be donated by Moe’s to the Chez Panisse Foundation, the organization which Alice Waters established to support an educational program that uses food to nurture, educate, and empower youth throughout the nation.
