Moe’s Books Features Rachel Saunders at September Cookbook Discussion Series September 27, 2011

Moe’s Books in Berkeley has announced that the Tuesday, September 27 cookbook discussion series, beginning at 7:30 p.m., will feature Rachel Saunders, author of The Blue Chair Jam Cookbook (Andrews McMeel Publishing).

Saunders, as well as being an author, is the creative mind behind the Blue Chair Fruit Company, plus she teaches jam and marmalade cooking classes in Oakland and across the country.

The Moe’s Books discussion series, moderated by Stanislaw Sobolewski, a Moe’s cookbook buyer for the last decade, is ongoing and include guest speakers, featured books, and food samplings. The series is free of charge and open to the public.

Open since 1959, Moe’s is the Bay Area’s foremost independent bookstore with over 200,000 titles for sale, 3,241of which are cookbooks.

Moe’s Bookstore is located at 2476 Telegraph Avenue, between Dwight Way and Haste Street, in Berkeley, California.
