Modern Hebrew is spoken by over 7 million people throughout the Middle East and is the official language of Israel. This is a beginners level course and no prior knowledge of the language is required. Modern Hebrew 101 will introduce the foundations of the language through teaching a balance of all four macro skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), however the main focus will be on speaking and listening skills. Participants will be encouraged to develop their speaking abilities through dialogues/role plays, pair work and exercises bases on daily life situations, as well as be introduced to the Hebrew alphabet in print and scrip. The course follows the recommended text for easy reference and practice between class meetings. Details of this event may be subject to change. Hi Alysia

Vic CHISIG events are open to the public.
Please feel free to come along to any presentation you'd like.

If you'd like to join CHISIG (http://chisig.org/membership/) that'd be great too :)

Cheers,
Scott.
