Model Trains in the Valley October 24, 2010

Open Day of the Liphook and District Model Railway Club - our first since 2005.


Come along and see what a model railway club is all about - this features two major layouts: Weyford on Sea 00 gauge - SR seaside branch line, recently enlarged to include seaside promenade and cliffs.


Yamanouchi Oshika N gauge layout with new and extended townscape and all the latest Japanese high speed trains.


Displays and Modelling demonstrations. Information and advice on starting the hobby Entry:Adult £1.50 with up to two children free. No unaccompanied children please. Plenty of seats to watch the trains.


Tea, coffee and home-made cake at reasonable cost all day. Venue is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty-soon to be the South Downs National Park; has car parking, is next to the Rising Sun (pub) and is wheelchair friendly
