Model J 1917 Harley-Davidson Army Motorcycle September 13, 2007

Motorcycles were used during WWI by dispatch riders, by military police in traffic control and escort duties, in communication lines repair, for supply units, by medical personnel and simply to get around. The museum's 1917 Harley-Davidson saw duty with the U.S. Army and possibly with the British Army as well.
