GSMA Mobile World Congress (3GSM) in Barcelona is the biggest wireless tradeshow in the world. Those of us who go every year know that it is impossible to see everything and learn everything there during the 3 days in Barcelona. That's why the Telecom Council puts together these roundtable events after large tradeshows - so our members can share what they learned, what they saw, and their opinions of the overall trends that made an impression on them - in the context of telecom. This gives members who didn't go a chance to learn from those who did, and those who went also get the chance to fill out their notes with things they might have missed.
The format of this meeting will be a presentation followed by a roundtable. The presentation will be from an analyst and moderator who will offer show highlights. During the moderated roundtable, each attendee will get a chance to discuss their opinions, their take-aways, and share any gems they found - all in the spirit of networking, communication, and collaboration in our industry. Throughout the meeting, we encourage comments, disagreements, and interaction from everyone in the room.
We have opened 2 20-person sessions for this debrief- a morning session or a lunch session.
*09:00 AM - 11:00 AM Morning Session
*12:00 PM - 02:00 PM Lunch Session
Our innovative debriefs have been extremely successful, and are consistently highly rated by all that attend. We routinely get feedback like this quote from our CES 2008 Debrief survey: "You saved me 3 days and $3,000. Great summary and great insights..."
This intimate meeting is free to members and $200 for non-members, with an additional option to obtain the 'Show highlights Brief' and meeting notes. A membership option, which always includes our meeting notes, is also available during the online registration process for this event.
