Mix & Assemble, the final event for Create Denver Week, is an evening of artistic collaboration taking the audience on a festival for the senses featuring a fashion show paired with guest DJs, gig posters by local and national artist up for silent auction and culminating with live music.
Arrive early to view more than 60 screenprinted gig posters hosted by Ink Lounge that were donated by American Poster Institute artists from near and far, then choose your favorite poster for bidding to support Urban Peak. Next, guard your seat by the runway to experience the fashion/DJ duo creations inspired by Fashion Denver designers’ chosen poster. The beat goes on with local live music by Rock Americana flavor Bad Luck City and hip hop group Cloud City.
At 7pm the poster exhibit opens and DJs Heather Browne, Julio Enriquez, Father Guido, Professor Honeydew and Eryc Eyl start spinning. The sounds join local fashion designers, Jibberish, Fancy Tiger, Chasing Rainbows, Turbo Lovin’ and Hella Thready, for a uniquely coordinated approach of beat and style for a fashion show extravaganza from 9:30pm-10:30pm.
