On Tuesday, Nov. 9, Selma Cafe is partnering with wine expert and Ann Arbor Chronicle columnist Joel Goldberg and the nonprofit Growing Hope to present a wine-tasting event featuring more than eight trophy-winning Michigan wines. The guest speaker is Don Coe, managing partner of Black Star Farms winery on Leelanau Peninsula and vice-chair of the Michigan Commission of Agriculture. In addition to Joel’s insights on the Michigan wines that will be served, the evening includes food prepared by local chefs, including Eve Aronoff of eve the restaurant; Brandon Johns of The Grange Kitchen and Bar; and Thad Gillies of Logan Restaurant.
The suggested donation for tickets is $60. Reservations and pre-payment are required as space is limited. Contact Lisa with any questions at lisa@selmacafe.org or 734.417.1144
