Mitch Lehn Folk Trio February 28, 2009

The Mitch Lehn Folk Trio (MLFT) formed in 2006 when Matt Azer received a guitar for Christmas and became Stapleton's neighborhood band by playing block parties and its first gig at Kyle's Saloon. Today, MLFT has 10 members at full strength and consists of working stiffs, mothers and fathers - both skilled and unskilled musicians alike. MLFT is a true neighborhood basement band. Most of the members are reintroducing themselves to music after years of dormancy, or simply picking up an instrument for the first time. What started as a whim has taken legs of its own and turned into a real band. Long live rock and roll.
