Missouri Opry's A Country Christmas December 13, 2008

Jerry Prunty's Missouri Opry presents their popular "Country Christmas" concert featuring traditional Christmas songs mixed with highlights of their regular music and comedy. This year Jerry Prunty and the Farnsworth Hall Community Theatre have joined together to help others this Christmas season. The Missouri Opry will donate a percentage of their fee and the Theatre will donate a percentage of their net proceeds to the 100 Club of Arizona. The mission of the 100 Club is to provide financial assistance to families of public service officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty as well as to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare. The Missouri Opry represents world class variety entertainment presented with showmanship, flash and flare. The five piece band is lead by Ozark's entertainer Jerry Prunty who originated the popular Missouri Opry in 1982, when he and his family built their theatre in Osage Beach, Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks. This show will include many of your favorate Christmas songs mixed in with special highlights from the regular Missouri Opry Show which will include the popular "Orange Blossom Special" on the fiddle, a swing medley from the 40's, a Rock N' Roll salute to the 50's including a fabulous drum solo on "Wipe Out" plus a special Christmas appearance by "Elvis".
