At the Kroening Interpretive Center
Celebrate the rich cultural history of the Mississippi River. Enjoy a picnic dinner, horse-drawn wagon rides, and a performance by the Workhouse Theatre Company and music by Charlie Maguire. Watch apple cidering, rope and shingle making demonstrations. Try building a log cabin and using a wash board and rug beater. Become a lumber Jack/Jill to saw and brand logs and test your balance. Have old-fashioned fun walking on stilts, making a corn husk dolls and running the obstacle course. Co-presented with Lind-Bohanon Neighborhood Association. $5 admission includes picnic dinner. 20% discount for groups/families of 4 or more. Ages: All.
