Are you in Year 10 and thinking about going to University or college? Would you like to design and construct a rocket? Are you interested in all things space? Sound cosmic? Then Mission to Mars is the summer university for you.

Mission to Mars is an exciting and interactive residential experience where you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced academics on a range of practical activities including rocket design and construction, electronics and robotics as well as elements of space exploration. You'll have access to the most sophisticated computer programmes and aerodynamic technology in your quest to build and launch the best rocket!

In addition to this you will have the chance to take a ferry across the Mersey and visit Spaceport, a visitor attraction which features a wide range of hands-on exhibits and simulated experiences. As well as this, you'll have the chance to tour the galaxies in our very own planetarium, an experience not to miss.

You will also have the opportunity to work with current Uni students on stuff that will give you the edge when you return to school in Year 11: study skills, revision techniques and time management, amongst other sessions.

And when you've finished working hard it's time to start playing hard! Living on campus in our stylish halls of residence you'll have the opportunity to go along to our Student Union and sample the nightlife. Social activities include bowling, sports activities, film night, outdoor pursuits, BBQ and as always on the last night our infamous fancy dress disco and karaoke.

Join us at Edge Hill University and we guarantee that this will be a summer you won't forget.
