Missing from Care. Expert conference on the phenomenon and reasons of children running away from care March 9, 2011

Missing Children Europe and its Hungarian member Kek Vonal are pleased to announce the upcoming expert conference on the phenomenon of children running away from care.

As a follow-up to the conference on runaways organised on 17 & 18 November 2010 under the Belgian Presidency, Missing Children Europe and its Hungarian member Kek Vonal are organising an expert conference on the phenomenon of and reasons for children running away from care. The conference, that will take place on 10 March 2011 in Budapest, intends to provide additional guidance and support for European and national decision makers on how to prevent children and young people feeling that there is no other solution to their problems than run away and risk being unprotected. The conference is jointly organised with the Hungarian Presidency of the EU and the Hungarian Ministry of Public Administration and Justice.
