Miss Black Queens New York USA Pageant September 26, 2009

Miss Black Queens New York USA Pageant’s finale will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the elegant
Thomasina’s Banquet Hall located at 205-35 Linden Boulevard, Saint Albans, NY, from 3 pm – 6 pm. Comedian, JP Justice,
HBO’s Comic Relief Award recipient and host of the new talk show, “Instigated Talk,” will serve as the master of ceremonies
for the pageant.

Open to young African-American women between the ages of 17-27 that are currently living or have lived, worked or
attended school within New York State and a citizen of the United States, contestants have a chance to win an official Miss
Black Queens New York USA Crown and sash, complimentary professional photo shoot, up to $1000 in cash, goodie bags
that will include popular brands such as Expectations Mobile Spa, samples of the lip product sweeping the nation, YOYO
Lip Gloss, and high quality, nature-based beauty products from Soul Purpose. The winner will also receive paid entry fees
to compete in the Miss Black New York Pageant.

Contestants will face-off in various categories: Personal Interview, Fitness Wear, Talent, and Evening Gown. The winner
will compete in the Miss Black New York USA Pageant, with a chance to go on to the national level in the Miss Black USA
competition.
