Miro Dance Theatre welcomes longtime friend and collaborator Pete M. Wyer, one of the composers for Miro’s Hurdy Gurdy. Please join us as we explore excerpts from our repertoire, set to Wyer’s moving music, and videos featuring Miro dancers. Hailing from the UK, the “pioneering, transatlantic composer” (The Independent) has worked with the acclaimed Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera North (Leeds, England), and the Julliard School, among others. In celebration of collaborations with Miro, past and future, and the U.S. CD release of Stories from the City at Night, Wyer will also accompany with a live musical performance.
