In the museum's Baking Lab, see, hear and taste how World War II affected home front cooking and baking. Costumed History Player Ruth Andre Krause, otherwise known as Ann Pillsbury, gives a performances. Krause joined Pillsbury in 1946, just as the company was starting to market convenience products to the generalpublic that were initially developed for troops. Mill City Museum staff will bake WWII-era recipes and share how rationing affected cooking during the War between performances.
