Minnesota Orchestra: A Carnegie Hall Preview - Beethoven and Sibelius February 24, 2011

Every season, Carnegie Hall asks the Minnesota Orchestra to perform for New Yorkers--and here's your chance to experience the program Manhattan is waiting for. Osmo Vanska is known the world over for his Sibelius interpretations, music that is the Orchestra's strong suit as well. When violinist Lisa Batiashvili joins in to perform Beethoven's only violin concerto, it will be a high point of the season! The program also features Sibelius' Symphonies No. 6 and 7.
