"the first installment of the event series MIND BLOWING, where jomf will host and co-curate and evening of music and visuals with DRAGGING AN OX THROUGH WATER at a beautiful atrium space next door to the downtown portland bar/restaurant VOLEUR 111 sw ash st. portland, oregon 97204 (503) 227-3764 we hope to run this installation series throughout the summer, so please come down and show some support so we can secure this incredible location for more events. food and cocktails will be available from velours incredible selection of wines and homemade infused spirits. the program will consist of a found slide presentation called PAKISTAN: RANDOM SCENES AND EPISODES which will be scored live by members of JOMF, DRAGGING AN OX THROUGH WATER, and many special guests in ad-hoc configurations arranged for this unique performance only. along with the event, DANA DART McLEAN will open a show of her spectacular paintings in velours main restaurant space. this event will mark the continued collaboration between JOMF, DRAGGING AN OX THROUGH WATER, and DANA DART McLEAN, that began last november in COPENHAGEN, DENMARK as the artists all participated together in a group show curated by CHRIS JOHANSON, and it should be a great evening with tons of potential for continued collections of visual and sound art to be presented throughout the summer, please join us!"
