This summer, dual-language entertainment hits the stage when Miller Outdoor Theatre and The Academy at Theatre Under the Stars present Disney’s Aladdin: Dual Language Edition June 9-11, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Miller Outdoor Theatre.
The classic enchantment of Aladdin is made fresh in this innovative dual-language production. Aladdin speaks only English, Jasmine speaks only Spanish and Jafar speaks both languages, bringing new life to familiar songs. Raja the tiger and Abu the monkey act as translators for the young couple. Genie, the Sultan, Lago and all of your favorite characters come to life on the stage.
Every summer since 1968, Miller Outdoor Theatre has served as a venue for Theatre Under the Stars to provide free musical theater to Houston families. Theatre Under the Stars’ production of Disney's Aladdin: Dual Language Edition is made possible by the Miller Theatre Advisory Board, Inc.
Miller Outdoor Theatre, where performances are always free, has entertained and delighted several generations of Houstonians. Pack a picnic basket, a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the performance from the hill, or sit in the brand new seats under the canopy.
