Much has been made of the status of Women in Technology - specifically the decline of women enrolling in science and technology studies. Are the times changing? Is it possible that all the advances of the women in technology may be eroding?

Despite evidence to the contrary, every year there are still a good number of women starting promising careers in high tech and life sciences - and a significant percentage of them have rapidly got on the leadership track too. We have asked some of these rising stars to join us in a discussion on the "Millennial Workforce" - the most networked generation, thanks in part to ubiquitous cell phones, iPods, IM, Facebook, MySpace, etc. -- and share their unique experiences and expectations of career development in the 21st century.

Leading the conversation will be Lisa Orrell, author, keynote speaker and head of M7 Design (included on the Silicon Valley Business Journal's lists of "Top 25 Ad Agencies" and "Top 25 Web Firms.") Lisa's recent book is the timely The 2007 Chickonomics(TM) Guide to Millennial Professionals: How to Successfully Recruit, Manage, and Motivate North America's Newest (And Most Unique!) Generation of Young Professionals.
