Milica Paranosic - Confessions and I Am A Bird January 20, 2010

Milica Paranosic presents an expansive two Act program which begins with Confessions, a provocative and edgy one-woman show. Confessions plots her coming of age story, artistically and personally, against the backdrop of the Yugoslavia in which she grew up, and the wars which subsequently split her native Serbia from the other nation states. In Act Two, Milica, composer of I am a Bird, is joined by her Bird Band of musicians, visual artists and dancers for a cirque-esque performance that involves Origami, Capoeira, live painting and video games. An orgy of vision and sound, this homage to longing and triumph is not to be missed.Doors: 7:00pm
