Arts and Events in the Greater Milford Area Raising FUN and FUNDS
Putter’s Tavern and Grill is hosting a fund raiser for the Greater Milford Events & Arts Council (GMEAC) Sunday, August 30, noon to 4:00 p.m.
The Milford area has such a wealth of natural resources, an assortment of interesting merchants, great schools, a variety of restaurants and event venues, talented people whose ages span generations. The newly forming GMEAC is busy supporting recurring events such as the Sun Flower Revolution bike ride, Promont House Art Affaire, Go With The Flow, The Junction Trail Festival as well as organizing new ones such as the Plein Air Painters Paint Out and the Nutcracker Ballet.
The Council will be seeking grants for some of its endeavors and will soon be filing for 501(c)(3) status.
Bring your family and friends for a fun afternoon filled with great food, a silent auction, split-the-pot, raffle prizes, entertainment, and special guest appearances. Putters Tavern is located on the corner of Route 28 and McClelland (513-831-5777).
