With members originally hailing from all over the United States, this North Carolina-based band draws from diverse backgrounds and experiences to create a sound that is truly American. Singer / songwriter Brad Heller brings his Southwestern roots to the forefront with politically and socially-driven songs about life, love, injustice and the state-of-things. Travis Price's gritty and bluesy guitar work and high-lonesome harmonies add a distinct texture and sophisticated humbleness to the mix. And add the classically-trained string work of Adrian Varnam and Chris Johns with the simple, yet steadfast rhythm section of Rusty Wood and Ron Pfifer and you have a sound that is as indefinable as it is intriguing.
