Mike Rooney Oil Painting Demo November 29, 2009

Plein-aire artist Mike Rooney will be giving a rousing demonstration of his outdoor oil painting techniques at Fountainside Gallery. Mike is from Topsail Beach and does almost all of his painting outdoors; many people in the area have seen him out and about town creating his fresh, impressionistic landscapes. Mike will demo and discuss the advantages of painting from life. He's an interesting and often humorous speaker!
