Autumn is a wonderful season to enjoy the beautiful colors and sounds of a fall field, and one of the most sought-after animals is the adult monarch butterfly. Beginning in September and continuing into early November, monarch butterflies take to the sky on a journey to central Mexico. Together, we'll take an in-depth look at the monarch butterfly, along with other fall butterflies we discover. The program will begin with a brief indoor presentation highlighting the five families of butterflies. Then we'll head into the sanctuary fields to look for butterflies in all stages of their life cycle. Registration is required. Call 978-887-9264 for details.
