Join the Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and all the rest of the zany gang, when Midwest Ballet Theatre (MBT) presents its original, full-length ballet "Alice in Wonderland" at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the beautifully restored Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave. in downtown Downers Grove.
Based on the Lewis Carroll classic tales, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass," MBT's "Alice" is set to a score using music by Saint-Saens/Kabalevsky. The ballet, which premiered in 1986, has played to many thousands of enthusiastic youngsters, parents and grandparents over the last two decades and remains one of the most popular in MBT’s repertoire. Choreography is by Artistic Director Mim Eichmann.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, students 12-18 and children. Group rates are available for groups of 8+ until March 3rd by calling (630) 971-9751. All seating is general seating.
