Midway Orchestra, the musical enhancement of PURE Cirkus spectacle, will be presenting unique audio and visual treats not to be missed!

Midway Orchestra melds metal roots with orchestral instruments to create a sonic experience unlike anything heard before. Heavy brooding rhythms juxtaposed with bright melodic cirkus mayhem will pound you into submission and have you crawling back for more. This Orchestra is comprised from a variety of Seattle musicians; many involved in other projects. Collectively the members' musical influences range from death metal, progressive rock, Latin jazz and classical. The band is: Paul Turner (BOOM!), Donovan Raymond (Funky Reymundo the III, Dark Prince of the Windswept Islands), David Testa (Crumpet), Talbot Shoemaker (Butterhorn), Rosalynn De Roos (Squeaks), and Jeff Kimes (Azreal).

Haak-MacNab features German-born, Megatar player (and famous Chapman Stick player), Dino Haak and percussionist Doc MacNab. The chemistry is like flame to powder! With funky and powerful grooves that have made audiences the world over get up and dance, their songs have a progressive rock influence, yet they stay short, fun and rely on groove rather than how-many-notes-can-I-fit? Like the love child of System of a Down, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and King Crimson, Haak-MacNab is downright fun music without being masturbatory, top-heavy, too long or tiring.
