Why should the adults have all the fun? For little ones who can’t make it to midnight, the Maryland Science Center is moving New Year’s Eve revelry up to the OTHER 12 o’clock at its 4th annual Midnight Noon celebration, Sunday, December 31, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.!
Baltimore band Milkshake will ring in the New Year with their Grammy-nominated kid’s rock and roll, only stoppin’ when the ball starts droppin’ and the confetti cannons start poppin’ at Noon. Midnight Noon will also feature the kid-friendly improvisational stylings of Now This! Entertainment, who will take the crowd’s ideas and instantly turn them into songs, sketches and musical fairy tales, complete with audience participation! Children can also partake in party prep by crafting their own party hats and noisemakers.
All Midnight Noon activities are free with paid admission to the Maryland Science Center and completely free for members. The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. For information and advance tickets, visit www.marylandsciencecenter.org or call the 24-Hour Information Line at 410-685-5225.
