Our summer hiatis is over, time to really get involved and make this the best Historical Society ever.
You will especially enjoy the speaker this month. Rose Zatezalo, our Program Chairperson, has invited Donald Mapes to speak of his wartime experiences. Don is a local resident, a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He has written an autobiography of his experiences. I am sure he will be happy to sign copies of the book. At this meeting, we invite veterans to share their experiences as well. If you have a veteran in your family, please bring them along to the meeting to share with us.

KFOG 104.5 San Francisco\97.7 San Jose presents its 15th annual "KFOG KaBoom!" on Saturday, May 10. This popular Bay Area tradition will feature a concert on the KFOG KaBoom Stage with Los Lobos, Collective Soul and Matt Nathanson, followed by the largest fireworks display in Northern California.
