Mid-Week Break's "A Trip to Tuscany" June 9, 2010

Need a break mid way thru the week? Then come to Dudley's Wine Bar for their "Mid Week Break"! Great relaxing atmosphere, fun people and awesome wines. This Wednesday for the Mid-Week Break, we'll taste and learn about one of the most important wine regions in the world: Tuscany, Italy. We'll begin our exploration of Tuscany with the wine many consider synonymous with this exciting region-The food friendly, Pizza & Pasta ready Chianti! From there, we'll taste a 90 pt. Chianti Classico... But what's the difference? Yet there is more...We'll also taste a very prestigious and famous Chianti Classico Riserva! They're all different, but how? To make things even more interesting, we'll sample a wonderful 90 pt. Super Tuscan as well. We'll pour all of the above wines, but, with the additional bonus of a fantastic Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the very prestigious village of Bolgheri (in Tuscany of course)!
