Microscope Magic: Spores and More October 19, 2010

Mushrooms and other strange slimes use spores to reproduce. They are tiny! And are often quite colorful--purple, yellow, or even pink. We'll try to find some of these secretive mushrooms and examine their spores and other features under special microscopes. We'll also make spore prints to capture the color. It'll be fun... gi!
