Composer, author, world music preservationist and Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart comes to the JCCSF!

Today Hart spearheads the Endangered Music Fund, which returns recording royalties to indigenous songwriters, and serves as a Trustee of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.

Hart's most recent book, Songcatchers: In Search of the World's Music, documents his lifelong fascination with the history and mythology of music.
