Mickey Avalon returns to Hawaii in support of the 2012 release of his second album titled Loaded. BAMP Project brings him back to the islands with performances at The Republik, Hawaii's newest concert venue on Oahu, Friday, August 10, 2012. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 18.
Mickey Avalon started his career working with Simon “Dirt Nasty” Rex hitting up the Hollywood club scene and later brought on two members to form the rap group, Dyslexic Speedreaders. Releasing his self-titled solo album, Avalon produced two popular singles “Jane Fonda” and “Mr. Right.” His single “What Do You Say” became part of The Hangover film soundtrack, featuring Dirt Nasty and Andre Legacy.
Avalon has collaborated with diverse artists, including Cisco Adler and Lil Jon for the production of “What Do You Say”. In 2009, Mickey Avalon went on his “Stroke Me Tour” featuring Beardo and Ke$ha. Earlier this year, Avalon released his digital EP On the Ave and his second solo album Loaded with the single “Girlfriend.” He worked with more artists and was featured on several albums, including that of Existereo, Luckyiam, and recently Brokencyde.
