This tour will focus on the "streetwall" part of a landmark district of skyscrapers, which today provides a magnificent vista for visitors to the new Millennium Park. This collection of buildings was designed by many notable early Chicago architects and built in a variety of styles including Beaux Arts, Venetian Gothic and French Revival. Find out what forces helped shape this unique street. North of the landmark district, proceed to the Michigan Avenue Bridge for that famous view of the architecture and the Chicago River at Wacker Drive.
