Michie Mee, Eternia and Guests at Women in Politics, Women in Hip Hop Concert October 1, 2008

Apathy is Boring's upcoming concert kicks off Pop Montreal 2008! Featuring MCs Michie Mee, Eternia, members of Nomadic Massive, the Kalmunity Vibe Collective as well as Nova Scotia folk singer Stephanie Hardy, the night starts at 7:30 with a panel entitled "Women in Politics, Women in Hip Hop". Performers and female politicians will discuss their careers in traditionally male-dominated fields. Hosted by Montreal chanteuse Marième Ndiaye, this event will bring together youth, community organizations, and artists for a night of dialogue and music encouraging youth to vote on Oct. 14th!

And don't worry about missing the French language leaders debate (8 - 10 pm in Ottawa) - we'll be streaming it live in-between acts so you won't miss a thing!
