Michael McDonald has been on and written for hits such as Scrubs, Desperate Housewives, Pushing Daises, Seventh Heaven, Reaper, Kath & Kim, and My Life on the D-List. He also worked steadily in television, landing guest spots on Seinfeld, Ellen, Just Shoot Me, and News Radio. In 1998, McDonald obtained a starring role on MAD TV for 10 seasons. His first professional writing and acting jobs came from Concorde Pictures, Roger Corman's infamous low-budget movie studio. Starting as an extra, McDonald landed dozens of film roles, and gradually moved behind the camera as both a film writer and director.
