'KARATE' (ain't karate if you don't hit nobody) is a comedic play written and performed by Michael Lehrer. The story of an orphan who was found in a rain storm and raised by a verbally abusive Sensei to be a Karate Master. He is also addicted to drugs and he might be gay. Michael Lehrer has performed around Chicago for 10 years with iO's Deep Schwa, The Second City, has appeared in festivals across the country, and has had his work seen and heard on CNBC.COM, ESPN Radio, and on TV in the late night comedy 'Sports Action Team.
