A multi-talented actor, writer, comedian and director, Michael Ian Black is currently on his “I Am A Wonderful Man” national theater tour supporting the release of his first comedy CD, “I Am A Wonderful Man,” on Comedy Central Records. Michael wrote the film, “Run, Fat Boy, Run,” which spent four weeks as the #1 film at the U.K. box office and will open in the U.S. in March. The film was directed by David Schwimmer and stars Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton and Hank Azaria. As an actor, Black recently wrapped the film, "Kids in America," in which he was featured opposite Topher Grace and Anna Faris.
Black has been seen in the films "Wet Hot American Summer," "The Ten," "Reno 911!: Miami" and "The Baxter." For four years, Michael was a series regular on NBC's hit drama, "Ed." He co-created, starred in and co-wrote the Comedy Central series, "Stella," co-created, wrote and starred in the Comedy Central series "Viva Variety" and co-created, wrote and starred in the acclaimed MTV sketch comedy show, "The State."
