The self-described “Squeeze Box Swami,” Michael Attie joined the ‘60s pilgrimage to the East, living in Japanese Zen Monasteries and Indian Ashrams. Upon his return to the West, his intention to continue his meditations in a California mountain retreat was interrupted by an unexpected development, he inherited his father’s business, “Playmates of Hollywood – The World’s Largest Lingerie Store.”

Besides being an excellent general guide to eastern spirituality, Attie's book is filled with humorous and insightful reflections on his two careers. The recurring theme is to approach one’s meditations and life with a playful, loving and open heart.
