Mia Feuer: Suspended Landscape March 5, 2010

Transformer is pleased to present new work by DC-based artist Mia Feuer, who engages Transformer’s project space from floor to ceiling in the creation of a large-scale, site-specific installation of construction cranes and pulley systems. Fabricated from foam and aircraft cable, Mia's brightly colored, intersecting sculptural elements form a “landscape” of impressions that the Winnipeg- born artist encountered during frequent travels up and down the US East Coast.

Mia hails from Winnipeg, Canada but currently resides in Washington, DC.
