Described as the !best new prog band in the world' (Mojo), the Danish band Mew remains somewhat of an undiscovered gem in the UK. Since the release of its debut !Frengers' in 2003, which was certified platinum in Denmark, the band has developed an impressive reputation and cult fanbase. On stage, the Mew experience is an epic adventure, mixed with incredible live visuals and short films. Drawing influences from art-pop makers like Belle and Sebastian and the Magnetic Fields, Oh No! Oh My! delivers an assortment of catchy pop melodies with a wholesome - and somewhat quirky - charm. The trio (touring five-piece) is made of Austinites - Greg Barkley, Daniel Hoxmeier and Joel Calvin.
