Metric and Sebastien Grainger June 14, 2009

Canada’s Metric (pictured), the Emily Haines-fronted, new wave/indie sensation formed while the band members were living in Brooklyn, returns to Chicago on the heels of the release of Fantasies, the band’s follow-up to its 2007 break-out Live It Out. Opening the show will be Mississauga, Ontario, native Sebastien Grainger, former drummer and singer for the dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979. His solo debut, Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains was released late last year. All ages show.
