Merlion Art Installation September 7, 2012

Recreating the Merlion’s early days, “A Father’s Love, A Country’s Inspiration”, captures the construction of Singapore’s very first Merlion statue and provides a glimpse into the life of its sculptor Mr. Lim Nang Seng known for his untiring dedication to his craft.Come and see this emotive art installation, designed by Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Design, and help complete the sculpture by penning your birthday wishes for the Merlion on ‘scales’. Your ‘scale’ will then be placed on the Merlion’s body together and form an integral part of the Merlion sculpture.
