Menopause The Musical is a hilarious look at life after 40 and all its glorious changes. It begins when four women meet for the first time over a black lace bra in the lingerie department at Bloomingdale's. Except for the bra, it seems they have nothing in common until they discover they are all experiencing hot flashes, memory loss, mood swings, night sweats and "the change" which prompts a burst (hit it!) of sisterhood and song. The show offers up over 21 hilarious parodies of tunes from the 60s and 70s. For example, the ladies sing: (to the tune of Heat Wave ) "I'm having a hot flash, a tropical hot flash..." And: (to the tune of Wimoweh) "In the guest room or on the sofa my husband sleeps at night..." It's a wildly funny and entertaining celebration of women.
