Mendocino Stories & Music Series will feature The Writers of the Mendocino Coast on Wednesday, January 18 at the Mendocino Hotel. First Annual Tall Tales contest winners in the Under 12 category – Rowan and Natalia Kawczak - will read their tall tales. Following them will be Alena Deerwater, Molly Dwyer, Doug Fortier, Karen Lewis, and Malcolm Macdonald. They will be joined by David Brown, guitarist for a great evening of entertainment. Music starts at 7PM and the readings at 7:30PM.

Writers of the Mendocino Coast is a gathering of local writers who have established a Mendocino branch of the California Writers Club, the oldest professional writers club in the United States. Jack London was among its founding members in 1909. The Mendocino Coast branch supports local writers of all stripes and ages, from beginners to professionals, all genres, all forms.
